Having been a long time folk music listener and more of a devotee of the folk music I grew up with, I appreciated Dirty Linen opening up a wider world of music for me. Because of your hard work, I grew in my appreciation of of newer “folk music” and newer and equally good artists.
Thank you.

Is there a night club in the Chatt area that plays bluegrass music??
I would appreciate it very much if you could let me know.
We have some out of town people that have moved here and are great lpvers of Blue grass music.Thank you so much.

There must be, but I can’t think of any offhand. I have discontinued compiling the Dirty Linen Gig Guide…

In Oct. 2009 I ordered a 2 yr. subscription to Dirty Linen to support a great magazine. Unfortunately, I only rec’d 2 issues and was billed twice on my credit card, once in Oct. 2009 and once in Jan. 2010. I have talked to 4 or 5 different people who told me I would be taken care of—-sadly all lies at this point. It would be only right that I get my $ back or an alternate magazine. I am already a longtime subscriber to Blues Revue. Do the right thing,”people involved with Dirty Linen” and take care of me. Larry Grant Miles City, Montana

Believe me, the state of “customer service” that Visionation is providing (or rather, NOT providing) is appalling. Apparently they aren’t even reading email sent to office@dirtylinen.com or accounts@dirtylinen.com. Before we had to leave the company in April, Sue and I did the best we could to convince Visionation to deal with the situation, to no avail. My only suggestions are to see if your credit card company can do a charge back (give you credit) or contact Visionation directly – there are some email addresses on http://www.visnat.com. I’m sorry I can’t give you a better answer. Sue and I were proud of the customer service we provided prior to Sept 2007 when we merged with Visionation and are dismayed that 25+ years of our work has disintegrated.

I just wanted to thank Paul and Sue for many years of good work! They were eager and willing to review my books and recordings when I first started out in the music business, and I had always looked to their magazine to give me accurate insight into the current music scene and new trends.
